Girl Tries To Impress The Boys By Chugging A Beer While Barefoot Water Skiing, Ends As Expected
Folks, there are certain things in life that shouldn’t be paired with alcohol. Some of them are more obvious than others. Take drinking and driving for example. It’s common knowledge that if you hop behind the wheel boozed up, bad things happen. Same goes for drunk gambling, drunk eating, and drunk conversations. I’m not saying that alcohol’s bad, I enjoy a cocktail as much as the next guy. I’m just saying that there are certain activities that should be done sober. Barefoot waterskiing is one of them. It checks all the ‘do not drink if’ boxes: it’s a power sport, it requires coordination, it takes place on a non-solid surface. You’d think she would’ve known better than to slam a bunch of Bud heavies before hopping behind a rope but apparently not.
To be fair, she looked pretty comfortable until her face slammed off the water. Which at that speed is the same as hitting concrete. If you’ve ever been water skiing you know what I’m talking about. Although the crash isn’t the worst part, the moment you realize you’re going to crash is. You bounce outside the wake and catch a little slack only to get yanked back in with a bad case of the wobbles. Then all you can do is pray your unconscious body stays buoyant long enough for the boat to pull you to safety. It’s the worst. That’s probably why the camera shut off so quick- because they didn’t want to film the rescue. On the bright side, her fall seemed violent enough that she didn’t have time to think about it. It reminds me of that scene from wedding crashers.
At any rate, if you’re looking for a good YouTube hole to get into, water ski wipe outs do NOT disappoint. They’re right up there with rope swing disasters. It’s a great way to waste twelve hours if you’ve got nothing going on. Here’s one to get you started. Enjoy.
